She had a microphone.
She had a stage.
Her face was on two massive 50 foot high screens.
She was singing loudly.
With a band backing her up.
The whole venue was designed for the audience to look at her.
And yet she couldn’t hold the attention of numerous people at the concert.
Now some may argue that she was the support act but you could also say it was a metaphor for controlling other people.
