I think a big step in the self love journey is moving the cause for your failings away from 'because you're a bad person' toward 'because you're a sad person'. The inner critic will skin you alive for every indiscipline but at some point you picked up that unhealthy coping mechanism for a reason. Life … Continue reading Bad to sad

Skill and direction
The aging 'playa' just locks in to charming the next lady. He doesn't stop to reflect on the loneliness. He just defaults to what he's good at. He can't see the wood for the trees. He sees a nail and he is the hammer. He could stop and ask: Is this the right nail for … Continue reading Skill and direction
Lazy AI
AI is like a lazy actor, it just wants to say the lines and go home. You have to be the exacting Director. You have to guide the performance and push it and give it reference points in order to squeeze out of it that great content. It's not a mind reader. Not yet anyway.
Persistent persuading
Winning someone over to your point of view can be so satisfying that we can get lost in the challenge of it. Sometimes its better to stop pushing and take on their point of view. Because ultimately there comes a point when the persistence becomes annoying and you start to hinder your own cause.

Security and responsibility
I think the more insecure the individual the less likely they are to own up to their mistakes. They'll push blame this way and that way, because in their head their identity can't survive taking responsibility for a gaffe.
Iceberg beliefs
I think when the emotion is disproportionate to the scenario then there is an ice berg belief at play. There is some kind of trauma or deep unconscious thinking actually pulling the strings here.
Adolescence misogyny
'Adolescence' (the TV show) was fascinating. Because, now I might get this wrong, and I'm no psychologist, but it looked like at the root of misogyny was insecurity. Beneath all that bravado, aggression, and intimidation tactics there was a vulnerable little boy wanting to be liked. Instead of coming to terms with his flaws, he … Continue reading Adolescence misogyny
Life right first time
I think at its core self hatred is trying to convince you that you're doing life wrong. Which is kinda funny considering that you are a flawed being living life out in real time. So how could you possibly get it all right first time?
