Occasionally an odd thing occurs, a human is used as a medium for communication.
Some possible reasons for this:
- Power
- Laziness
- Time constraints
- Ego trip
Tips for being a human messenger:
- Get enough information to actually talk through the conversation eg. The reasoning behind the decision. You want to avoid being asked questions you don’t know the answer to because it makes you feel useless.
- Learn to filter the appropriate amount. When someone tells you to relay the message ‘tell them to get f*cked’ obviously don’t say that but find the core sentiment and deliver it with more tact as you will be standing in front of the receiver and you don’t want to get shot.
Overall the longer you are a messenger the more likely you are to get shot, so really you should find a replacement solution as soon as possible.
