Recently I found out that my tv subscription is increasing in cost. The email described no increase in channels or new material simply a price increase.
At first it was quite annoying, the value scales were out of balance in my eyes. I would be paying more for the same amount.
I was peeved.
Then I thought about the person behind this price increase.
This decision was most likely made in isolation, far away from any customer and probably in response to pressure from higher ups. Because who would pay more for the same?
Before this price up I was happy with my tv subscription but then somebody in a position of power wanted more.
I feel sorry for the decision maker but not enough to stay.
