Del boy’s dealings are very entertaining but I think he’d suffer hugely in real life.
You pity the poor sod who buys something off Del, they are most likely in for a nasty surprise (see fire damaged woks or explosive dolls).
If Del continues to operate like this he’ll destroy any possibility of repeat business.
Not only will nobody want to deal with someone who’s burnt them in the past, they will warn anyone who will listen about the dangers of doing the same.
So I’d trust Del boy for a laugh but never as a salesman.
