Warnings

Certain wing mirrors carry a small message on them – warning: objects in mirror are closer then they appear.

I think the same should be done when being nostalgic – warning: these rose tinted glasses only show the positive experiences.

Or even hindsight – warning: the answer will appear obvious now that you know the outcome.

The warnings help prevent a distorted view of reality.
