What would drive Paula to choose this medium to announce the news?
Well as the brilliant Seth Godin says:
“When someone doesn’t act like you expect them to look for their fear ”
Paula needed to end the relationship but was terrified of the possibility that Greg might interrogate her or even worse discuss their feelings.
So in order to avoid an inconvenient interaction Paula chose the tactless option. She achieved what she wanted but the aftermath will be appalling.
