Why would did the audience switch off from that presentation?
- It was slow.
- The speaker’s voice was monotonous
- There was too much information to attempt retaining.
- It wasn’t interesting
- It looked like every other boring presentation.
I think the best way to make a presentation interesting is to see all of the hallmarks of a boring presentation and stride deliberately away from it.
- Try something new and untested.
- Try using only image slides.
- Try telling stories.
- Try audience interaction.
- Try using props to tell your story.
- Try asking the audience to guess what you’re going to say next.
