I was looking through old photos and was struck by how blurry the focus was.
It occurred to me that people in those days had the valid excuse of using a disposable camera. Therefore it could take weeks before they found out the picture was blurry. They had no way of knowing until the photos were developed.
Nowadays cameras can provide previews of photos instantly and I think that it is this shortened feedback loop that has led to the rise in amateur photography skill levels.
