Sex education is a good show. I would recommend it.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, the show is based around the son of a sex therapist using his inherited knowledge to advise his classmates on sex.
We’re into the second season and I have spotted a trend.
The majority of the ‘patients’ come to Otis all in a tizzy about their problem. They are at their wit’s end and desperately need a quick fix.
Then 9 times out of 10 Otis will advise for the ‘patient’ to do the thing they most likely knew the whole time.
To do the courageous act and tell the truth, to share feelings and work things out with your partner.
The ‘patients’ probably knew this but wanted to avoid it and out of the avoidance the stress was born.
No avoidance, no stress.
