Mind guarding

“Stand guard at the door of your mind” Jim Rohn

One of the amazing aspects about the book ‘Man’s search for meaning’ is that Victor Frankl was able to maintain a positive attitude through atrocious conditions.

For anyone who isn’t familiar, Victor Frankl survived a World War 2 concentration camp and wrote a book about it.

In some of the worst conditions in recent history, Frankl did not let his external environment contaminate his internal outlook.

An admirable feat and an awe inspiring example of mental resilience.

Frankl’s work shows that our view of life is in our hands. We can decide our opinion and our viewpoints of the world.

If watching the news is getting you down, turn it off. If those around you are spouting negativity, don’t let them in (to your mind that is).

You get to decide your outlook.
