I can see now it was naive of me to think a deep seeded problem was going to go away after one conversation. Of course it was going to take more. The conversation definitely helped. No doubt about it. A start was made but it was just a start. I suppose it’s only natural in this day and age to expect a fix right away. Same day delivery and all that. Patience and diligence are needed now. Much to the dismay of the lazy and impatient. But after all this is a worthy cause.
Maybe that’s all patience is? A new expectation after learning the hard way you can’t have it sooner.
