It’s really hard to understand two people talking to you at the same time.
I think it’s the same for point making.
It’s very confusing to try and comprehend two points simultaneously.
If you are doing the persuading then by all means make multiple points, but if being understood is your goal, then make one point at a time.
One point at a time and the audience doesn’t get lost.
One point at a time and the reader can compound their knowledge to follow your argument.
One point at a time and you can take the listener on a journey.
