They say ‘don’t meet your heroes’.
Why?
Because the all knowing ‘they’ realised that it’s unlikely your hero is going to live up to your dizzyingly high expectations of them.
If you worship them, view them as a god or label them as perfect then you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
Because nobody is perfect. Not even your hero and meeting them will prove that.
