‘Church of the three Patrons’
That was the only sign outside the tall grey bland building.
I couldn’t say the same about the colourful petrol station which was absolutely covered in signs and messages all desperate for my attention.
The messages included price reductions, promotional offers, instructions on how to use the machinery etc.
The irony is, with so many messages and things for me to remember each sign became more forgettable than the last.
The only message I remembered was the sole sign outside the boring church.
‘Church of the three Patrons’
I think brevity is a valuable skill and it pays dividends when it comes to memory.
