TikTok is a mad ole social media platform.
There’s so much content, so many videos.
The notion of posting one myself flutters in through my ear and I’m immediately terrified.
What would I post about? I have no ideas!
(My fear fails to spot that I have been coming up with something to blog about everyday for the past 3 years)
Look at them! They make it look so easy, my videos will never be as good as theirs!
(My fear has wiped my knowledge of the learning curve clean from memory)
What if I post and some anonymous troll comments on my video ‘gay’?
(Now we’re getting somewhere)
What if the viewers spot that I am older than the average TikTok user and don’t like me for it?
(Closer)
What if I make a fool of myself and they all laugh at me?
(Bingo!)
We have reached the heart of the matter!
Beneath all the silly excuses we have arrived at the primary cause for concern and I daresay the number one reason why people don’t post on TikTok.
‘What if they laugh at me?’
