When it’s just an opinion you don’t have to take it personally.
You can go about your day secure in your abilities and taste.
When it’s perceived as criticism you have to sulk or rage or weep depending on your modus operandi.
So examining the comment for the presence of an opinion could save you the exhaustion and inconvenience (and lighter fluid cost) of burning countless bridges.
