Years or vulnerability

I don’t think length of time can accurately describe the closeness of a relationship.

I’ve seen friends who have kept it surface level for 20 years and I’ve seen strangers plunge into serious emotional depth within 5 minutes of meeting each other.

I think the amount of years can definitely allude to a familiarity but I think the true measure is vulnerability.

Yes you might share a laugh or two but would you trust them enough to open up?

That’s my assertion for the quality that best defines the strength of a relationship.
