The more I learn about psychology and limiting self beliefs the more it seems that when you were a child you were creating this mental instruction manual for life.
A guide that you finished before entering adulthood and gave to your subconscious for reference when deciding your day to day behaviours.
It’s kind of peculiar isn’t it?
That an incident you might chalk down as random today, the child version of you, in their basic view of the world, might interpret as traumatic and it could take years to spot and undo this erroneous belief.
So, you could be deathly afraid of remote controls as an adult and have no idea why.
Or you could be excessively angry all the time and not know the reason.
