How much non-conformity can I dish out today?
To be 100% non-conformist means risking upsetting the tribe.
It means alienating oneself, separating yourself from the pack and isolation engulfing you.
But to be fully obedient means committing atrocities against your morales and hoping the excuse ‘I was just following orders‘ or ‘everyone else was doing it‘ will protect you.
Somewhere in between my exaggerated extremes lies a happy biting point.
A way to be a principled opinionated individual whilst retaining tribe membership.
