When Sir Clive Woodward asked a peripheral vision specialist to come in and talk to the England rugby team I bet there was a few raised eyebrows, a few sideways glances and few comments behind his back along the lines of:
‘Has this lad gone mad?’
And maybe that particular talk was a dud but I think the underlying intention hit home with the team. Sir Clive would leave no stone unturned in making his team better.
