I’m in a tough spot now.
I know that if I want any chance of success I have to move on and yet there is a strong part of me that wants to do nothing but complain.
What was Michael thinking deciding this way?
Come on now, you’ve got to get going and find a solution.
But why didn’t Beatrice help me out more?
For those of you curious for the answer I think the reason why (after reading The Chimp Paradox) it’s so hard to let go of these thoughts is because it’s a strong primal part of the brain that is in charge of anger.
A beastly section that will not succumb to being squashed but may benefit from being exercised.
So a good venting session with someone you trust or perhaps pen and paper will make it a lot easier to let go.
