The resistance says:
But the world doesn’t need another writer.
And I would agree with that logic.
The world doesn’t NEED another writer.
But I would argue that life is short and if writing makes you happy then write.
Even if no-one reads it. Even if you never get published.
If the exercise of crafting sentences delights you, then do it!
Don’t worry about what the world needs.
What do you need to feel happy?
