Logic dictates that you take the simplest route to complete the task.
For example Alex, the Head of Castleknock GAA doesn’t want Frank being the caretaker anymore, so logic would say Alex goes over to Frank and tells him so.
But humans feel feelings and Alex is registering fear at the prospect of this interaction.
So instead she asks a coach to cut the grass for her but to keep it a secret at all costs.
But when Frank finds out Alex lies to say there was a surprise match organized for the under 14s.
Now she has to go and organize this made up game between the U14s and another club.
And the lies continue and she ties herself in more and more knots.
Logic is compelling but fear is more powerful.
