Some American football fans looking at the Patriots dynasty are asking the question – Was the reason for success Bill or Tom?

And I think that is an oversimplification of success.

Tom didn’t catch the balls he threw. He didn’t play defence or coach the defence.

Bill never kicked a field goal or completed a pass.

It was both of them plus 100 other players, coaches and backroom staff.
