Forgiving

Forgiveness is an odd thing.

On the one hand you don’t want to forget because you don’t want to get burned again and on the other hand you feel like you’re creating tension for yourself.

One of them has to win to move on.

Do you minimize the remembering to feel less awkward in the moment or do you double down on the tension and refuse to interact with them?

I think the pain is caused by your current place on the spectrum and it means you should slide left or right to feel more comfortable.
