Maybe the reason why people don’t meditate more is because there is little proof that it will result in greater salaries or higher status.
If Buddhist classes started claiming up to 50% increase in money earned upon completion they may be overrun with applicants.
But then again that would contradict the Buddhist way, while at the same time, ironically, enlightenment could be vastly more valuable then any sum of money or level of status.
But it’s hard to point to its direct influence on results so it gets overlooked.
