(continued from yesterday's post) Frank was working the next day and as he walked in to start his shift he spotted Lisa on the tills. She had no make up on, which was unusual for her and it made Frank wonder - was she expecting more tears today? It felt weird to see her sitting … Continue reading Frank’s redemption

Frank’s compassion
(continued from yesterday's post) So there she was crying her eyes out over some fruit on the floor. It was ridiculous, it was just a couple of oranges. Ok let's go back to sports. Have a look at this image. This is a grown man crying after a sports game. Well that's Arjen Robben and … Continue reading Frank’s compassion
Frank’s perception
(continued from yesterday's post) That's bullshit! Frank typed out 'You make all these videos, all those blog posts giving advice but when there's an actual human in front of you asking for advice, you won't give it to them! What's that about?!? That message was left on read for 24 hours as well, so Frank … Continue reading Frank’s perception
Frank’s determination
(continued on from yesterday) The more he mulled it over, the more Frank did not like the meeting he had with his boss. He vowed to change. He would stop saying Bitch everywhere and he'll go one step further too. He'll get to the root of the problem. His searches weren't proving useful either. It … Continue reading Frank’s determination
Frank’s confusion
Frank never really thought about his use of the word bitch before. He used it so freely, it was second nature to him. He would casually toss it out at work, on the crazy golf course, at the pub, on the 5-a-side pitch, at the club, at the shopping mall, wherever he roamed. It was … Continue reading Frank’s confusion
Sunday TV
Am I allowed to spend my whole Sunday watching TV? Course you are, you're an adult. You have free will. It's not a case of asking permission. It's a matter of - will your demons let you enjoy it?
Moral thought experiments
I find the moral thought experiments annoying. They work your noodle into a knot and don't even provide an answer. It's all up for interpretation. I'd find it much more impressive and helpful for the writer to detail a solution not just present a problem. Anyone could do that.
Dark mind
Have you ever had an insight into someone's mind and thought - "yeesh that's a grim dark place" You get a taste of the hate they're carrying around and all of a sudden you feel grateful for your demons. You wonder what made them that way and if you can keep your distance to avoid … Continue reading Dark mind
Value salvation
I think it's easier to accept failure when your heart was in the right place. When your actions were aligned with your values, the pain of failure doesn't sting so bad. "Ok that GIF message didn't get a reply, but this relationship is important so I'm going to keep trying!"
Anger revolver
(said in a patronizing tone) "Aww you poor thing, you think the world revolves around you and everyone should fall in line with your expectations." Now I didn't say that. I don't think I would ever be bold enough to say that. But it made me laugh and it made dealing with that angry person … Continue reading Anger revolver
