I think knowing when to shut up is a great skill in the mastering of conversation. Nobody wants their ear burned off by someone ranting. A conversation is supposed to be a two way dance. Therefore reading the signs of an increasingly disinterested conversation partner is key.

Minimal mingling
Despite the purpose of the drinks being to mingle two different amateur teams after playing against each other, you only see the most minimal integration. The majority of the reds stay together. The majority of the blues stay together. Which I'm increasingly finding is the case with men as I've seen this behaviour happen on … Continue reading Minimal mingling
Self-inflicted pain
So there's this super fancy apartment that is doing a lottery like game. You buy a ticket for $10 and you could win the apartment. The sellers expect so many people to buy tickets that they will make more money than if they sold to one person. So, you buy the ticket and you go … Continue reading Self-inflicted pain

Chad’s lies
Watched the start of 'Chad Powers' and I felt an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. It was only two episodes and the amount of lying required did not feel worth it to me. I felt a strong urge for Russ to go to therapy and deal with his demons or just be open and honest about … Continue reading Chad’s lies
