It baffles me to see this happening. You’re not really paying attention to either and you’re ability to focus is steadily getting worse because of it.
For me the ultimate sign of a good TV show nowadays is if no one in the audience is on their phone, if everyone is transfixed by what’s happening on the TV screen.
Which goes to show that grabbing and holding someone’s undivided attention in today’s world is becoming harder and harder to do.
