One of the amazing things for me is just how diverse their songs were.
You could go from a slow song like My guitar gently weeps to a Rock anthem like Revolution to a nice happy song like Octopus’ Garden. Each of them great in their own right.
At the root of this diversity was the sharing of the song writing responsibilities. They understood that each member was talented, had their own fans and they supported each other to make the best song possible.
They clearly had a great attitude towards experimentation and a great work ethic to pull it off.
It just goes to show that four heads are better than one and what you can do when everybody is doing their part and pulling in the same direction.
