I asked you first!

It’s a bit of a childish response but it’s basically saying I want to hear your opinion first.

Now I don’t know about yourselves but when I hear this I usually feel a small twinge of fear as I think ‘What if my view is different to theirs?’.

As always you shouldn’t trust this little voice as you won’t be ostracized for giving your opinion, even if it does differ to your peers (well within reason).

It’s also a handy question when looking to get rid of yes men or if you have nothing to say yourself 😛
