Tag v jogging

I’m very tired right now and I have a tag game on tonight. There’s no question of my commitment.

I’m going to go and I’m going to give it my best.

Now if it was a run I would be less inclined to go. In fact, I might have even given myself the night off, I’m that tired.

Which begs the question why is tag different?

Which I reckon has to be down to the social aspect.

Tag involves other people. My jog just includes me.

If I don’t go to tag, I let down my teammates. If I don’t go for a jog, I’m just taking it easier on myself.

Look at that! Social commitments are good motivators! Who knew eh?
