For €2 extra would you like to pay for priority boarding?
It’s not a guarantee you won’t have to squeeze past someone to get to your seat.
It can’t promise you luggage space in the overhead compartment.
You won’t get to arrive earlier than everyone else.
You don’t get to leave earlier either. You still have to wait for everyone to board the plane before you can take off.
But what it will give you is a level of status, the feeling of being more important than those plebs in the regular queue.
And to some that’s well worth the €2 extra.
But what happens when the non priority queue is shorter than the priority queue. Will they make an exclusive vip queue? I think they will 😛
