I was learning how to use a new system recently and half of the time and mistakes were learning how to navigate this complicated filing system.
It’s fairly obvious how this mess came about. It is a long term culmination of people mindlessly adding short term names and ignoring any past behaviour or being considerate to future users.
What’s interesting is what will you do when confronted with this mess? Will you roll up your sleeves and fix it? Or will you put it off like all those before you?
Leaning into a problem provides immense satisfaction.
