Why do people wear watches?
In today’s world everyone has a mobile phone and each mobile can tell the time. Thereby making watches functionally obsolete.
So then why do people still wear watches?
Because they’ve become more than a time keeping device. They’ve become a personal statement.
For some it’s a fashion accessory and for others it’s a chance to display status.
Really it’s an opportunity for the wearer to say ‘people like us do things like this’.
