It sounds odd but the bad weather made it so much better.
There was a fun sense of abandon playing in the rain. A feeling that would have been absent if the weather was pleasant.
Even though it was just running around in a field it felt like breaking the rules.
You accept that you will get soaked and play anyway.
Sometimes it’s better if the weather is bad.
