Taking a no personally

When someone says no to you it may be personal it may not be personal, the important part, I’ve found, is how you interpret it.

Taking a no personally means holding grudges and viewing others negatively.

Whether as taking a no to be impersonal provides you with a much better outlook.

You walk away thinking ‘it was just not for them’ or ‘it’s just not the right time’. Either one leads to a brighter view on the world and the people in it.

So even if it was personal, rewriting that story to make it impersonal provides you with the path to keep going whilst thinking positively of others.
