I heard of an organisation who’s employees would max out their sick days every year. They would keep track of how many they had left and take them strategically so as not to arouse suspicion but every year you could guarantee the max amount of sick days were taken.
Now if you’re the company you’ve either got dire working conditions or a prevalent morale issue. A morale issue that is hemorrhaging productivity.
If you’re the employee then surely it’s more productive to look for another job then to simply use your sick days to avoid work.
