Frank and Fran have recently started a beginners writing course and they’ve received their first assignment.
They take their assignment and hit the streets, asking strangers their opinions on the matter. The average Joe doesn’t have much time to answer these questions, they have their own problems and places to be so they give short sharp answers. Frank & Fran don’t have much more material then when they started.
I think that surveying the public is simply an exercise in avoidance and Frank & Fran would be better off sitting down and hammering out their opinion on the matter. For it is their voice that they need to finesse not simply echoing others.
