Joeb hasn’t done it yet.
He has been riddled with a problem. A problem that has caused him quite a bit of stress. He identified a very good solution that may well solve his problem.
And yet he hasn’t done it.
The problem still exists and causes Joeb daily stress but he hasn’t done anything about it.
Why haven’t you done anything Joeb?
Eh, um, I just can’t find the time.
24 hours in a day and you can’t find the time?
I’m just really busy.
Oh yeah? What about that hour and a half you spent watching TV? A movie you had already seen before!
Maybe Joeb doesn’t know it yet, maybe he hasn’t given the matter enough thought to realize that the only thing stopping him is himself.
The inaction is most likely coming from Joeb’s own fear. A part of himself that his sabotaging his own efforts because he’s scared. Fear of what, I don’t know. We’d have to ask Joeb.
But I do know that fear, in the form of self sabotage, can hide behind many forms. Including the excuse of not having enough time.
