Ben shuffled his feet as he began to feel uncomfortable.
This team huddle was becoming a bit much.
There was a lot of shouting and listing of things the team needed to do.
Ben could hear laughter behind him and he turned around to steal a quick glance at the other team training.
They all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Big smiles on their heads whilst laughing away.
He secretly longed to be on the other team.

I don’t have a science backed argument to prove my point here but I definitely feel that there is something to performing better when relaxed.
I don’t think that sharing a laugh and performing well need to be mutually exclusive.
Obviously there is a time and place to be serious but the more you enjoy the team spirit I think the better you will perform.
The more relaxed you are in the environment and with your teammates the better the team will function.
I don’t have any evidence to support this, just a loose observation I’m making (like most of my posts come to think of it😀).
