Both require writing but blogging contains accountability.
Blogging is done for all to see, journaling is done for only you to see.
Accountability keeps you honest.
We can see plain as day, in black and white, if you showed up or not.
Accountability can foster discipline.
With daily journaling we can’t tell if you wrote today. We’ll have to take your word for it.
Accountability can improve performance.
Journaling lends itself to hiding. The fact that no one can see your entries means you can skip your writing today and no one would know.
Accountability is most likely a fear based motivator but it is a powerful tool and you can use it to your advantage.
