‘Where is Jose?’
Pedro is scouring the library for his friend to join him on a study break.
Juan, Marco and Chad had said no so now’s he looking for Jose, his fourth choice break partner.
Pedro was annoyed at the others for continuing to study, they were being so selfish and boring!
Pedro had given up trying to study, he just wasn’t in the mood. He had also scrolled through all the social media he could bare and now needed another form of procrastination – social interaction.
Procrastination feels much better with others. It can be justified as ‘being social’, ‘checking in’ or ‘catching up’. Unfortunately it means preventing someone else from being productive.
‘But who cares’ Pedro thought ‘as long as I don’t have to study!’
