‘I find your lack of faith disturbing’ Vader, Darth
I’m part of two sporting teams at the moment and my enjoyment varies hugely between the two.
The difference? The faith
On one team there is a strong belief that we can win. Not just each game but the whole competition. I love playing for this team.
The second team, on the other hand, has no faith in it’s abilities. We’re almost resigned to the fact that we will be defeated and therefore the lack of faith is making it a reality. I don’t like playing for this team.
Now the first team doesn’t always win but it always believes it can win. Just the faith alone that winning is a possibility makes each game fun and exciting. Their optimism is infectious.
That’s what you want in a team isn’t it? Winning? And then if not winning, optimism and enjoyment.
