I think everyone is irritating to someone.
Nobody is flawless.
But I think the level of annoyance depends on the relationship commitment.
The nose picking of someone you just met and will never see again might be unbearable.
The back slapping of your new brother in law might start as insufferable but because he’s your new family and you’re stuck with him for life it eventually becomes ‘not so bad’.
I think submitting to the inevitability of a relationship leads to finding a way to embrace others’ annoying habits.
