I hypothesise that the most shocking thing in the world is a different opinion.
How could you not like dogs?
How could you be pro life?
How could you not like Harry Potter?
How could you support Donald Trump?
We get so used to our own world and our own opinions that we continuously forget that other people also have a voice in their head and think differently.
It’s all the more shocking when the differing opinion comes from an insider.
It’s ok for ‘outsiders’ to practice a different religion or use a bidet.
But an insider? One of the tribe?
