“Newton’s third law – the only way humans have ever figured out of getting somewhere is to leave something behind”
That’s a quote from Interstellar and it may be an oversimplification of Newton’s third law but I think it can apply to human emotions too.
I think in the same way you can’t move onto level 14 until you’ve completed level 13 (computer game talk) you can’t reach enlightenment until you leave that decade old grudge behind.
I think each avoided problem will consistently act as an obstacle until you sufficiently deal with it.
