The rules of funerals are very clear.
Wear black, look sad and show respect.
Laughing at funerals is a big no no.
Funerals are supposed to be formal and serious matter not a time for enjoyment.
And yet grief doesn’t seem to care about formality.
Grief has its own unpredictable agenda.
From the outside grief looks to be a complicated mess of emotions and it’s going to laugh if it wants to.
