In love with an outcome

Friday 6pm – I’m in an state of excited panic as my hand fails to write as quickly as my brain is forming ideas. There is just so many of them and I have to get them all down before I forget. I can’t wait for Saturday afternoon it’s going to be unreal!

Friday 10pm – I can’t get to sleep I’m so excited for tomorrow. I’m so prepared it’s going to run so smoothly. Everyone is going to be so impressed.

Saturday 8am – I’m up two hours earlier than I need to be and I can’t get back to sleep because my mind is just buzzing with even more ideas to make today better.

Saturday 1pm – Change of plans. We’re not doing what I wanted to do.

There was no saving me. I had fallen in love with a singular outcome and couldn’t see an alternative. I was blindsided and it was my own fault.
